The day after....

Ahhhhhh.... so last night was wonderful in church! To unwind and unload all of your cares & be in His presence, surrounded by corporate worship.... peace comes.... yielding anew to trust in Him.... a knowing that He loves me....
........ then comes - THE DAY AFTER!!! It's early morning, I'm alone, cleaning, laundry.... paying bills, a thousand thoughts bombarding your mind.... what are you gonna do? The choice is mine to make.
How often the weight of the pressing circumstances have completely frozen me and taken my breath away! The choice is mine...
Today I choose my focus, and even after I choose I will have to stand my ground! I choose joy.... then I will have to fight to keep it.... to maintain peace and not be breathless. I'll choose wisely the words that I let penetrate my heart today. I'll choose to put my praise on and feed my hungry heart with teaching. I'll choose to create & paint today.
Yes, last night I went to church, but in reality, I AM the church. Jesus inhabits my heart....  I am not alone! I am not an orphan! The very One that created the heavens & the earth crafted me with His hands! I am His workmanship! I choose joy!
I hope you can also choose joy today! You know the Father himself LOVES YOU!!! No matter where you've been or where you are now.... He's IN LOVE with YOU!!! With the very gift of breath that He gives us today, let us use it to call upon Him & give Him praise today!
